Stagecoach, Lordsburg destonation,
headin’ fur deserted Overland station
Coachman catch a bullit in his head
ain arrows in chest, he fall off dead
Female passenger screamin’ in fear
threaten by apache warriors spear
Suddenly th’ soond of a trumpit blast
United States Cavalry far in th’ dust
See th’ sharp cavalry sabres flashin’
hear th’ army pistosl bullets lashin’
Th’ frightened passengers all survive
but th’ bauld coachman lost his live
See th’ mighty mesas, th’ desert sand
